Best of Kitchens

image

A kitchen is often the hub of the home and having a functional kitchen is important, and having an aesthetically well-designed kitchen adds enjoyment to the use. Kitchens add resale value to any home as well. Here's a look at some recent "best of's" in the kitchen design category.
image

An open flow and spacious kitchen adds the functionality of an island and a casual dining area. The white walls provide a clean look with a dramatically dark painted ceiling for added contrast.
image

A gorgeous designer kitchen with dark stained cabinetry and details like built-in shelving as a divider between spaces.
image

A beautiful simple, sophisticated kitchen with rich cabinetry.

Sleek and modern with thoughtful touches like the addition of side wall mounted decorative sconces by the sink. Simple creative ideas like this add to a distinctive kitchen.
image

A very open and airy kitchen with just one wall of full height cabinets. A great idea if you are looking to create an open kitchen.
image

A galley style kitchen with an island. The narrow shelves provide a great display to balance out.
image

This once all white kitchen is spruced up by paint color. Adding dramatic black and mix use of countertops makes it updated and contemporary.
image

This kitchen is based on a modern Mediterranean look. But the rustic vibe and greige countertops could be a perfect fit for any ranch style home.
image

Contemporary with retro accents, such as in the backsplash, bar stools, and added orange splash of color.
image

If you're open to interacting with the cook, an island with a cooktop all at counter height could be a kitchen design worth considering.

Can never go wrong with an all white classic kitchen. The dining and built-in banquette add cozy.

The living room features modern and timeless furnishings and was a collaboration between Lawson and the interior design firm duo, DISC Interiors.

The pair of chairs in the living room are by Edward Wormley, incorporated as part of Lawson's collection.

A splash of color highlights the closet cabinetry.

The newly remodeled kitchen is simple, understated, old world, yet modern. Integrates well with the revival architecture of the home.

The kitchen cabinet color is from Pratt & Lambert "Olive Bark" #2212.

Vibrant color accents the bookcases.

The master bathroom was included in the renovation process. The vanity was designed to feel like a piece of furniture. Bathroom fittings are of unlacquered brass from Waterworks.
