Sink Envy

These unique sinks may leave you feeling, well, sink envy. Here are some various styles of distinctive sinks that will have you thinking not every bathroom has to have a very standard / sub-par sink.

A basin cut out from a wood, earthy and organic.

A simple yet sleep slab of marble.

An industrial chic tin.

Teak is always such a great wood species for wet elements.

A trough like sink is especially great for a shared vanity.

Another marble slab, this one cut for two.

Thick, over-sized, and over-hanging: great for lessening splash.

Above, just a very chic sink / vanity combo.

Supermodel Karlie Kloss NYC Apartment

Supermodel Karlie Kloss shares her first NYC apartment, located in the West Village, on a quiet street just a few blocks from the Hudson River. She enlisted interior designer Nate Berkus to help her create the chic look go her very first home.

The goal was to create a look that reflects her style, in relating to fashion, to mix and match the same way she does with clothes.

One of her favorite spots, she says, is the kitchen - where she has a passion for baking cookies. I love the multi-level / stairs to kitchen with the paned glass and tiny dining banquette.
