Brizo Fashion Week

Last week I had the pleasure of attending Fashion Week in NYC, sponsored on behalf of Brizo Faucet, along with their unique collaboration with fashion designer Jason Wu. The three day event kicked off with a cocktail party where we were introduced to the other 19 bloggers invited to attend, which is now infamously known as "Blogger 19" based on the original group of nineteen participating bloggers and designers.

In taking part in the event, we had the opportunity to preview the collections from Brizo, including yet to be released concepts and the inspiration behind the designs. It was amazing to hear first hand from the actual Brizo designers themselves...and have them ask us for insightful feedback and input on products in the works!

While many of the products that are still in development can not be shared, one that is an up and coming release is this "handle-less" lavatory faucet! It operates by using Brizo's hands free technology and adjusting the water temperature by rotating the finial on the top!

And of course we wouldn't be invited to attend Fashion Week without an invite to the Jason Wu fashion show!

The dramatic red doors from which the models entered, the collection was very theatrical and inspired by Chinese inspiration (including the Chinese dynasty, military, and Hollywood regency). Check out a video of the fashion show here!

Following the fashion show we were invited to an intimate after party with Jason Wu at a penthouse suite with extraordinary views of the Manhattan skyline!
