Bookworm
Having a library in one's home can be a luxury, yet creating a library can be as simple as carving a space out of a nook, a corner, a hallway, or even a doorway. Here are some inspiring home libraries!
Framing a doorway, these shelves filled with books create a dramatic entrance to a living room.
A study filled with books.
A library and a home office, all in one.
Freestanding bookshelves and swing arm sconces are a way to create a mini library.
Built-ins like these can be carved out of a hallway or narrow space.
Building a bookcase around a sofa creates a cozy reading nook.
A guest bedroom could also double as a library.
Custom glam bookcases could be included in an intimate dining room!
An eclectic tv room may also be a space to work, read, and watch tv all in one framed by a bookcase.
Small spaces or alcoves (even seen created out of former closets) are great places to include custom shelving.
Surrounding yourself with books while you work can be so inspiring!
A library, a tv room, a sitting room, and a game room!
